Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Constantin Bădila went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Eusebiu Banica's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusebiu Banica helped the player get up and apologised. Lautaro Mancebo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petruț Arapașu having to make a save. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Grigore Bădilescu managed to work through Mexico's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Grigore Bădilescu dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Constantin Bădila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Petruț Arapașu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Petruț Arapașu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 17th minute of play. The corner led to Mexico's Alberto Tafalla getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a rather tough play, ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Eusebiu Banica got a free kick in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petruț Arapașu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leontin Hârtopanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Petruț Arapașu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 26th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petruț Arapașu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 33 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Tafalla. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Petruț Arapașu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Petruț Arapașu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Macos Graciani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 53rd minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petruț Arapașu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Eusebiu Banica hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Petruț Arapașu threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Leontin Hârtopanu got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Bădila came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Petruț Arapașu however easily saved by the left post. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Petruț Arapașu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ from getting a goal against them. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petruț Arapașu having to interfere. Eusebiu Banica kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Petruț Arapașu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 94th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mexico players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
