The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an all-out effort, China's Máté Döbrögi threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 朱傲义, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, 朱傲义 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Máté Döbrögi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 朱傲义's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. In the 11th minute, 朱傲义 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 朱傲义 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Máté Döbrögi came out and tried to block the shot, but 朱傲义 slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. The supporters of 延边朝鲜族足球俱乐部 booed when China was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. 严常耀 didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to China getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Tạ 张飞 hit a great ball. When Long Xiang Yuan came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the China fans jumped to their feet. Máté Döbrögi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tạ 张飞 in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, 朱傲义 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The China fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. China walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
