Sebastian Villa hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Leo Iigo got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhuo Chao Chuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmundo Espiga was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. Honduras's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Iigo in the 29th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 31st minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Christian Orlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Orlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Orlan was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Zhuo Chao Chuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Leo Iigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CE LAJEADENSE RS made a substitution. Renato Quadros replaced Jorge Pires. After the first half CE LAJEADENSE RS were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zhuo Chao Chuan made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Udo Nigula took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. Zhuo Chao Chuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Orlan having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Celsinho Castro threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Christian Sancho quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 0-3 became the score in the 69th minute when Leo Iigo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Bater Palma was substituted for Udo Nigula. With an all-out effort, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Lautaro Navarro threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bater Palma, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. CE LAJEADENSE RS were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Honduras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bater Palma took the corner. After taking down the ball on CE LAJEADENSE RS's corner Bater Palma fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lautaro Navarro quite easily take care of the ball. In the 82nd minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Zhuo Chao Chuan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Edmundo Espiga hit a great ball. When Zhuo Chao Chuan came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the CE LAJEADENSE RS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zhuo Chao Chuan couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd match minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Fărcășan to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Navarro was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Zhuo Chao Chuan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zhuo Chao Chuan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. The CE LAJEADENSE RS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
