Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murat Zelenika, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Börge Tidéksson sent off a good shot on target. Giannis Konstantinou made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Guillermo Fontirroig sent off a good shot on target. After 55 minutes FK KLIS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. Chile's Orlando Casaus was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Giannis Konstantinou in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 59 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Giannis Konstantinou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giannis Konstantinou. Giannis Konstantinou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 67th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Pozo to maneuver through the defense. FK KLIS's Eldar Huseinović was substituted for Yuan Bin Liang. In the 90th minute of the match, Orlando Casaus tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Giannis Konstantinou saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murat Zelenika in the 94th minute of the match. The Chile players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
