The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★'s Israel Aragones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★ getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Generoso Dunixi hit a great ball. Israel Aragones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 12th minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Israel Aragones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The supporters of Mexico booed when ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Dunixi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Aragones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 26th minute, Lucas Mikelar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 31 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Israel Aragones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Israel Aragones. ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 44 minutes into the game, Generoso Dunixi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. After 45 played minutes ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★ got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Dunixi. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. Israel Aragones made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. In the 53rd match minute, ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Uhin to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Alberto Tafalla took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Israel Aragones to make any attempt to save it. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Aragones having to interfere. Israel Aragones was a little too slow when Alberto Tafalla got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-6. 77 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Maiorga came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 80 minutes into the match, ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★'s goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Israel Aragones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★'s Israel Aragones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 85th minute of play. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Israel Aragones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. With a little luck, ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★'s Israel Aragones got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Israel Aragones was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joel Gaona showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 93 minute of play. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
