Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tadeo Seguinus took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sportivo Mela Banco's Zeledon Ilazki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 5th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Ilazki. Sportivo Mela Banco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Felix Montenegro, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 15 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Zeledon Ilazki was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Ilazki. Camilo Gisbert made in the 23rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Daniel Zorita however managed to control. In the 26th minute, Luis Andino made a precise shot to the right of Zeledon Ilazki. Sportivo Mela Banco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 29 minutes into the match, Primitivo Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Ilazki. Juan Sebastián Puig made in the 33rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luis Andino. In the 34th minute, Luis Andino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Ilazki. Zeledon Ilazki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Felix Montenegro took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Ilazki. After 48 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Ilazki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-10 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Zeledon Ilazki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeledon Ilazki made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. Zeledon Ilazki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zeledon Ilazki. That made the score 0-12 in the 65 minute of play. In the 70th play minute Daniel Zorita came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zeledon Ilazki. 0-13. In the 74th minute, Primitivo Andino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeledon Ilazki was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-14. Sportivo Mela Banco's Astor Oidor managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Primitivo Andino in the 77 minute of the game. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Luis Andino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zeledon Ilazki having to make a save. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-15. Zeledon Ilazki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zeledon Ilazki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 87th minute. Daniel Zorita did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-16 to the left of a surprised Zeledon Ilazki 87 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-17, to the right of Sportivo Mela Banco's Zeledon Ilazki. Zeledon Ilazki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zeledon Ilazki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Andino in the 94th minute of play.
