Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. Elof Beckman's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elof Beckman helped the player get up and apologised. Costa Rica made a substitution. Alfredo Zoido replaced Eliseo Noboa. After 7 played minutes Lobster if got a freekick which was hit by Elof Beckman. 8 minutes into the match, Lobster if's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Ivar Pihlwall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Pihlwall having to interfere. Ivar Pihlwall came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Axel Tasis. But to his dismay, Axel Tasis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 17thth minute of the game Axel Tasis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lobster if's Ivar Pihlwall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute, Olov Hedvall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Puig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivar Pihlwall having to make a save. If Alfredo Zoido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ivar Pihlwall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Zoido in the 24th minute of play. Alfredo Zoido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivar Pihlwall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Puig in the 29th minute of play. When Lautaro Puig came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Puig couldn't finish the play. If Alfredo Zoido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a little luck, Lobster if's Ivar Pihlwall got control of the ball when Axel Tasis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lobster if's Ivar Pihlwall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Puig in the 54th minute of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Alfredo Zoido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Zoido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lobster if's zone, Axel Tasis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivar Pihlwall came out of the goal and Axel Tasis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute Paul Hallgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Zoido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Pihlwall having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Tasis in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivar Pihlwall saved Lobster if from getting behind. Efrain Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ivar Pihlwall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Lobster if getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Olov Hedvall hit a great ball. Lautaro Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Alfredo Zoido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
