Christian Byström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Gandalfs Fc's Christian Byström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 4th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Panama's zone, Zoltán Sebestyén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal and Zoltán Sebestyén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sören Dalström got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gandalfs Fc's Christian Byström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 13th minute of play. After 13 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Byström was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 16th minute of play forced Gandalfs Fc's goalkeeper Christian Byström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute John Bennet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Berganza might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Byström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Berganza ran back to his position shaking his head. Miguel Miralles's late challenge caught a Gandalfs Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Miralles helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th minute John Bennet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 43rd minute of play forced Gandalfs Fc's goalkeeper Christian Byström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Sören Dalström sent off a good shot on target. Sören Dalström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Marcos Cotilla when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Dylan Sarmiento fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Dylan Sarmiento a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, one of Panama:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Panama. Rickard Nordmark placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sören Dalström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Gandalfs Fc got a freekick which was hit by Leif Kullgren. After a defensive mix-up in Gandalfs Fc's zone, Abraham Alguacil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Byström came out of the goal and Abraham Alguacil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Felipe Ros hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the game, one of Gandalfs Fc:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gandalfs Fc's Christian Byström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 70th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sören Dalström in the 71st minute of the match. Christian Byström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Cambeiro in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gandalfs Fc's Sören Dalström got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 87th minute Sören Dalström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zoltán Sebestyén during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zoltán Sebestyén kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Byström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Bennet took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
