Cebollas's Bastia Segarra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Cebollas from getting a goal against them. When Braulio Oihenarte fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Magaiba's protests and gave Braulio Oihenarte a yellow card for diving instead. Zavier Domenech's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luisito Basualdo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Bastia Segarra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Darien in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Zavier Domenech managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cebollas's supporters rose to their feet, but Zavier Domenech was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisito Basualdo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. James Arribas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Luisito Basualdo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th match minute, Cebollas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Domenech to maneuver through the defense. Bastia Segarra acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 28th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dante Baumer. Bastia Segarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Gaztea in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cebollas's Paulino Domenech got a free kick in the 31st minute. Bastia Segarra made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Agustin Avellaneda sent off a good shot on target. After 34 played minutes Agustin Avellaneda rounded Cebollas's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Zavier Domenech struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Luisito Basualdo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cebollas. 42 minutes into the game, Cebollas's Zavier Domenech nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luisito Basualdo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 47th minute Zavier Domenech shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Basualdo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
In the 55th minute, Hugo Darien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 57 minutes, Zavier Domenech managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cebollas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zavier Domenech was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Magaiba's zone, Zavier Domenech stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisito Basualdo came out of the goal and Zavier Domenech tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. James Arribas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Basualdo having to interfere. Club Atletico Magaiba made a substitution. Leonardo Toro replaced Braulio Oihenarte. After 66 played minutes Club Atletico Magaiba got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Darien. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico Magaiba's goalkeeper Luisito Basualdo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zavier Domenech took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luisito Basualdo. Luisito Basualdo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Hugo Darien's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bastia Segarra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Zavier Domenech fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Basualdo having to interfere. If Zavier Domenech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceferino Fidele charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ceferino Fidele the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 85 played minutes Club Atletico Magaiba got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Fidele. Bastia Segarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Toro, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Magaiba's zone, Zavier Domenech stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisito Basualdo came out of the goal and Zavier Domenech tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
