The audience thought a goal was coming when Rui Marquez got free with Luisito Basualdo in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 14 played minutes Club Atletico Magaiba got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Darien. 17 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Magaiba's goal looked a bit too open when Lenílson Camargo came free, but Luisito Basualdo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's Ronaldo Guedes got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Ronaldo Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Carlos Porto hit a great ball. Hugo Darien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ian do Vale charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ian do Vale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th match minute, UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian do Vale to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Darien was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 40thth minute of the game Hugo Darien who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's Vladimir Donato was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dante Baumer hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Vladimir Donato came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Magaiba's Fulgencio Gaztea. But to his dismay, Fulgencio Gaztea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samuel Beila to make the kick off. Ronaldo Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Luisito Basualdo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Darien kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Hílton Figueiredo struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Luisito Basualdo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C. UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's Ronaldo Guedes got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico Magaiba's goalkeeper Luisito Basualdo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Braulio Oihenarte during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Braulio Oihenarte hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Guedes in the 64th minute of play forced Club Atletico Magaiba's goalkeeper Luisito Basualdo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Atletico Magaiba's Leonardo Toro was substituted for Braulio Oihenarte. Carlos Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C booed when Club Atletico Magaiba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Baumer didn't get a good kick on the ball. UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Magaiba the free kick. After 82 played minutes UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C got a freekick which was hit by Rui Marquez. In the 88th minute, Rui Marquez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luisito Basualdo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Tomás Pirmin kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. Leonardo Toro's late challenge caught a UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonardo Toro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 100th minute, Leonardo Toro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
