Luisito Basualdo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lázaro Ascencio's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Club Atletico Magaiba's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Lázaro Ascencio scored to the left of an out of position Luisito Basualdo, making the score, 1-0. Jacinto Nuxila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Gaztea in the 17th minute of the match. Jacinto Nuxila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Avellaneda, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Darien in the 32nd minute of play forced Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Jacinto Nuxila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Club Atletico Magaiba booed when Almeyra F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Osoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Fidele came free, but Jacinto Nuxila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Nuxila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Fidele, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 42 minutes of play, Club Atletico Magaiba's Agustin Avellaneda made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacinto Nuxila was left in no man's land by his defense there! Club Atletico Magaiba's Samuel Beila was substituted for Fulgencio Gaztea.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roman Hernandez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Garaile in the 62nd minute of play forced Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Jacinto Nuxila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Club Atletico Magaiba getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Dante Baumer hit a great ball. Edelmiro Ticho was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Hugo Darien came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jacinto Nuxila could save by the left post. When Roman Hernandez fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Almeyra F.C.'s protests and gave Roman Hernandez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute, Samuel Beila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacinto Nuxila was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. After 83 minutes, Roman Hernandez made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. Club Atletico Magaiba's Luisito Basualdo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lázaro Ascencio in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisito Basualdo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luisito Basualdo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Hernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Darien could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Jacinto Nuxila made a huge save. Almeyra F.C.'s Jacinto Nuxila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Almeyra F.C. from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 100 minutes, Leonardo Toro took a quick shot and it went in 5-3 without a chance for Jacinto Nuxila to make any attempt to save it. The Almeyra F.C. support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
