Rodrigo Huaquil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Isidoro Caitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidoro Caitano made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Bruno Daneri sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, CDU Católica's Abner Señoret got a free kick in the 13th minute. CDU Católica's Zavier Galleguillos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Bermudez in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute Rosendo Bermudez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zavier Galleguillos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Lucas Sengrat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Zavier Galleguillos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Bruno Daneri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abner Señoret received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, Rodrigo Huaquil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 minutes, Omar Salah mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CDU Católica and the Tellier players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Bruno Daneri came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the CDU Católica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Daneri couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bruno Daneri to strike the kick off in the second half. Rosendo Bermudez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zavier Galleguillos came out and tried to block the shot, but Rosendo Bermudez slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 54th minute. 58 minutes into the match, CDU Católica's goalkeeper Zavier Galleguillos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rosendo Bermudez. When Abner Señoret fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CDU Católica's protests and gave Abner Señoret a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tellier booed when CDU Católica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abner Señoret didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Rosendo Bermudez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tellier fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Zavier Galleguillos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rosendo Bermudez in the 65th minute. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Lucas Sengrat took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Zavier Galleguillos to make any attempt to save it. When Omar Salah came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the CDU Católica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Salah couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerardo Galilea during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Camilo Tabor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Froilan Ferrer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Rodrigo Huaquil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. CDU Católica's Bruno Daneri couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 94th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tellier. Tellier's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
