El ABUELO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermegildo Pepillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Hugo Darien managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Magaiba's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Darien was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruperto Urre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of El ABUELO FC booed when Club Atletico Magaiba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Avellaneda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luisito Basualdo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Tabor in the 41st minute of the match.

Club Atletico Magaiba's Gogo Garaile was substituted for Agustin Avellaneda. In the 56th minute Hugo Darien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Urre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Hugo Darien ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruperto Urre was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. El ABUELO FC's Ruperto Urre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Garaile in the 67th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Eriberto Tabor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El ABUELO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Magaiba the free kick. 75 minutes into the match, El ABUELO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Beila came free, but Ruperto Urre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonardo Toro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Romulo Guib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 93 minutes of play, Club Atletico Magaiba's Samuel Beila made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruperto Urre was left in no man's land by his defense there! Romulo Guib hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Club Atletico Magaiba walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
