The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agustin Nel during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, El ABUELO FC's Agustin Nel got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute, Evelio Bladi made a precise shot to the right of Zavier Galleguillos. CDU Católica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 29th minute Salbatore Trincado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Manny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Evelio Bladi made a precise shot to the right of Zavier Galleguillos. CDU Católica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. A collision led to El ABUELO FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Walt Samuel hit a great ball. After 40 played minutes, CDU Católica's Bruno Daneri shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gaudencio Manny came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CDU Católica reached it. 45 minutes into the game, Evelio Bladi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Zavier Galleguillos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evelio Bladi was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, El ABUELO FC's Jose Raebert got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After having played for 56 minutes, Juan Pablo Morel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CDU Católica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Pablo Morel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aaron Dimas kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. El ABUELO FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Salbatore Trincado scored to the left of an out of position Gaudencio Manny, making the score, 4-1. In the 68th minute, Alfredo Joachim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Bruno Daneri in the 72nd minute really tested Gaudencio Manny's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Zavier Galleguillos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Bladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 minutes, Humberto Olentzaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El ABUELO FC and the CDU Católica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Humberto Olentzaro hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When Bruno Daneri came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the CDU Católica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Daneri couldn't finish the play. A collision led to CDU Católica getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Dionisio Bravo hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Evelio Bladi notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of CDU Católica's Zavier Galleguillos. Zavier Galleguillos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Evelio Bladi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zavier Galleguillos having to make a save. Zavier Galleguillos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Dimas in the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. El ABUELO FC had won after a very even match.
