The crowd rose to their feet as Cebollas's Octavio Grau slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zavier Galleguillos. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. 15 minutes into the match, CDU Católica's goalkeeper Zavier Galleguillos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulino Domenech. Paulino Domenechs short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Zavier Galleguillos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Cebollas fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Cebollas's Paulino Domenech looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice moves Paulino Domenech could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Zavier Galleguillos however easily saved by the left post. Paulino Domenech's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zavier Galleguillos firmly grabbed it by the left post. Zavier Galleguillos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Octavio Grau showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. After some careless play in the CDU Católica defense, Octavio Grau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zavier Galleguillos. The CDU Católica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zavier Galleguillos should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd minute of the match Bruno Daneri shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bastia Segarra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 45th minute, Paulino Domenech left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cebollas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0.

Salbatore Trincado kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Zavier Galleguillos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Grau, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Manolo L´Hotelier hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Zavier Galleguillos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Grau in the 64th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Octavio Grau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Zavier Galleguillos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 72 minutes, Tomualdo Palencia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cebollas and the CDU Católica players grew even worse after the yellow card. CDU Católica's Bruno Daneri shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 73rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bastia Segarra but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salbatore Trincado in the 76th minute of play forced Cebollas's goalkeeper Bastia Segarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, James Arribas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cebollas's Bastia Segarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salbatore Trincado in the 83rd minute of play. After 84 played minutes Cebollas got a freekick which was hit by Luis Bueno. In the last second Bastia Segarra throw himself and got hold of the ball when Salbatore Trincado in the 85thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Grau in the 87th minute of play forced CDU Católica's goalkeeper Zavier Galleguillos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niguel Maritano charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niguel Maritano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Niguel Maritano hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Bastia Segarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Salah in the 93rd minute of play. If Paulino Domenech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CDU Católica's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
