He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tellier reached it. In the 5th minute, Lucas Sengrat made a precise shot to the right of Bastia Segarra. Cebollas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Paulino Domenechs short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Isidoro Caitano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 9 minutes of play, Tellier's Ovidio Mincho made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bastia Segarra was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12th minute James Arribas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Caitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bastia Segarra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 47 minutes into the game, Rexino Colsa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cebollas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tellier the free kick. The Cebollas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tellier were winning 0-4.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulino Domenech stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bastia Segarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Mincho in the 52nd minute of the match. If Octavio Grau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rosendo Bermudez got free with Bastia Segarra in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Paulino Domenech sped through Tellier's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Isidoro Caitano. A collision led to Cebollas getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Rexino Colsa hit a great ball. Isidoro Caitano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Domenech, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the game, Cebollas's Paulino Domenech nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isidoro Caitano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. The supporters of Cebollas booed when Tellier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Ferrer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Paulino Domenech managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cebollas's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulino Domenech was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidoro Caitano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Cebollas getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Rexino Colsa hit a great ball. After 79 played minutes Tellier got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Aznar. Cebollas's Octavio Grau got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the game, Paulino Domenech cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Isidoro Caitano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Octavio Grau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Caitano having to interfere. When the match was over Tellier could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cebollas throughout the match.
