Chorroarín's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Prudencio Socorro in the 22nd minute. After 24 minutes of play, Chorroarín's Guillermo Mitxaut made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bill Peterson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Narciso Oinatz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Shane Beesley showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 40 minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Eustacio Romero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bill Peterson. Heavenly Hooters's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eustacio Romero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. 46 minutes into the match, Heavenly Hooters's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Mitxaut came free, but Bill Peterson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guillermo Mitxaut made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Guillermo Mitxaut's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bill Peterson was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Bill Peterson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Mitxaut, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 96th minute, Chorroarín's Timoteo Arotza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bill Peterson. Bill Peterson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-8. When the match was over Chorroarín could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Heavenly Hooters throughout the match.
