The corner was taken by Adan Aresti in the 5th minute. Nestor Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel-Omar Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel-Omar Batista in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Cortez saved Lobos de Carelia from getting behind. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lobos de Carelia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adan Aresti was slow to take the kick. During this time ★Independiente Ψ★'s players had a chance to rest. Cristian Jaunti made a great header on ★Independiente Ψ★'s corner, it was just that Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel-Omar Batista in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Cortez saved Lobos de Carelia from getting behind. In the 46th minute, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Gabriel-Omar Batista dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel-Omar Batista made a kick off. Lázaro Rufo kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. With a little luck, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Maximiliano Iigo got control of the ball when Prospero Perico tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 53 played minutes Lobos de Carelia got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Giro. Nestor Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel-Omar Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After some careless play in the Lobos de Carelia defense, Gabriel-Omar Batista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestor Cortez. The Lobos de Carelia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Cortez should have stopped the shot. In the 64th minute of the match ★Independiente Ψ★ got a corner. Lobos de Carelia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adan Aresti ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nestor Cortez came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by ★Independiente Ψ★'s Gabriel-Omar Batista. But to his dismay, Gabriel-Omar Batista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The supporters of Lobos de Carelia booed when ★Independiente Ψ★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Aresti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lobos de Carelia's Cristobal Lia was substituted for Pavao Zadro. Maximiliano Iigo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 83rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cristobal Lia. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Perico got free with Maximiliano Iigo in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Lei Feng Ying managed to get in a good position for a shot. ★Independiente Ψ★'s supporters rose to their feet, but Lei Feng Ying was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Cortez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Lei Feng Ying came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the ★Independiente Ψ★ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lei Feng Ying couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Nestor Cortez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ★Independiente Ψ★'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
