The audience was convinced that Lino Rios's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bill Peterson was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Lino Rios might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bill Peterson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Rios ran back to his position shaking his head. Lino Rios's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bill Peterson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute Dawid Beckham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bill Peterson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Paley got a throw-in 24 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Fazıl Özgenalp. Heavenly Hooters's Bill Peterson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Heavenly Hooters from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the match, Heavenly Hooters's goalkeeper Bill Peterson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Rios. The supporters of AFC FUSION booed when Heavenly Hooters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Paget didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shane Beesley hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Dawid Beckham blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bill Peterson having to make a save. Lino Rios might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bill Peterson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Rios ran back to his position shaking his head. Bill Peterson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Dawid Beckham had several of the Heavenly Hooters's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 41 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Bill Peterson as he didn't even see the shot coming. Arnout Hindriks took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Eztebe. Roberto Eztebe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. AFC FUSION's Lino Rios got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Rios stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lino Rios blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bill Peterson having to make a save. 52 minutes into the match, Heavenly Hooters's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Rios came free, but Bill Peterson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bill Peterson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Rios in the 54th minute of play. Heavenly Hooters's Bill Peterson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dawid Beckham in the 56th minute of play. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save AFC FUSION from getting a goal against them. Bill Peterson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Rios in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germano Bettencourt in the 66th minute of play forced Heavenly Hooters's goalkeeper Bill Peterson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AFC FUSION's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dawid Beckham in the 67th minute. A nice corner shot did that Dawid Beckham got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bill Peterson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Fazıl Özgenalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Shane Beesley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heavenly Hooters made a substitution. Sidney Dalton replaced Shane Beesley. In the 72nd minute, Shane Beesley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lino Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bill Peterson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Rios in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 81st minute Germano Bettencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bill Peterson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heavenly Hooters's Bill Peterson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dawid Beckham in the 83rd minute of play. Heavenly Hooters's Anthony Carey-Bertram was substituted for Grant Willets. AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks was substituted for Lino Rios. AFC FUSION's Jan Hop was substituted for Wojciech Fiszer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dawid Beckham in the 89th minute of play forced Heavenly Hooters's goalkeeper Bill Peterson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christoff Stocks scored 3-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bill Peterson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AFC FUSION had played much better football throughout.
