Oswaldo Rossi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cayetano Esdras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Roman Weidenfeller was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Adan Lorien. Adan Loriens short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Roman Weidenfeller to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Borussia Dortmund MZB getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Bruno Penha hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the De Boedo Vengo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Borussia Dortmund MZB.
