An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseu Alagoano in the 26th minute of play forced Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ramón Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Agostinho Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Vítor Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Peres in the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Eliseu Alagoano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 卡納里尼奧 FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's zone, Sidnei Dionísio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramón Bertassi came out of the goal and Sidnei Dionísio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute Edmílson Senna suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Célio Albuquerque during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Célio Albuquerque got a free kick in the 41st minute. The supporters of Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ booed when 卡納里尼奧 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílton Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ramón Bertassi came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by 卡納里尼奧 FC's Eliseu Alagoano. But to his dismay, Eliseu Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 65th minute, Cafu de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 卡納里尼奧 FC's Armandinho Pombal was substituted for Régis Vides. In the 67th match minute, Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafu de Castro to maneuver through the defense. 卡納里尼奧 FC's Eliseu Alagoano got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the game, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Eliseu Alagoano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramón Bertassi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 74th minute, Cafu de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FSCMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ramón Bertassi. The audience was convinced that Eliseu Alagoano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramón Bertassi was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. 96 minutes into the match, Eliseu Alagoano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ramón Bertassi. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseu Alagoano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 卡納里尼奧 FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
