Acácio Ortiz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horea Hurmuzache having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Acácio Ortiz got free with Horea Hurmuzache in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emanuel Ardeleanu's late challenge caught a Imbituba - FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Ardeleanu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute, Emanuel Ardeleanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horea Hurmuzache was a little too slow when Acácio Ortiz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. Acácio Ortiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horea Hurmuzache read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After 20 minutes DINAMO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Diguinho Magalhães who took care of the corner kick. Maxim Doinaș made in the 28th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Emanuel Ardeleanu. The audience was convinced that Acácio Ortiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horea Hurmuzache was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. 35 minutes into the match, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Acácio Ortiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horea Hurmuzache narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristóvão Linares to strike the kick off in the second half. Vinícius Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Cristóvão Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugen Bobocea hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's Șerban Damian got a free kick in the 77th minute. After some careless play in the DINAMO defense, Acácio Ortiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horea Hurmuzache. The DINAMO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horea Hurmuzache should have stopped the shot. Acácio Ortiz scored 5-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horea Hurmuzache, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind DINAMO's goalkeeper Horea Hurmuzache, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Adam Rednic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Imbituba - FSCMZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
