After 4 minutes of play, Agua Santa's Lúcio Viana made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Telmo Trigo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 10thth minute of the game Cipriano Pinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.A. Francana's Telmo Trigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to A.A. Francana getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Arnaldo Ramos hit a great ball. When Franklin de Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.A. Francana's protests and gave Franklin de Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes A.A. Francana got a freekick which was hit by Franklin de Almeida. Francana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Telmo Trigo should have stopped the shot. In the 81st minute Fábio Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francana's protests and gave Cássio Viana a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, A.A. Francana's Luiz Eduardo Rodrigues got a free kick in the 90th minute. Téo Tróia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Telmo Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Viana in the 95th minute of the match. In the 95th match minute, A.A. Francana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Ramos to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Agua Santa players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
