Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Teófilo Pádua got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Goblins F.C. booed when CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teófilo Pádua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabrício Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Pedro Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the game, Cassiano Montenegro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goblins F.C. the free kick. Cassiano Montenegro hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute Joel Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrício Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Goblins F.C.'s attack was well implemented in the 9th minute, but when Joel Bezerra was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The audience was convinced that Alexandre Veríssimo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sílvio Moraes was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. If Zé Pedro Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sílvio Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Veríssimo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Alexandre Veríssimo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sílvio Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Serafim Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Eduardo Machado charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Machado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th minute, Eduardo Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Virgílio Anjos, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 37th minute, Waldemar Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Goblins F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Veríssimo came free, but Sílvio Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sílvio Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Veríssimo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandre Veríssimo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacob Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Moraes having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Pedro Mendes made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Goblins F.C.'s zone, Bento Melo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Moraes came out of the goal and Bento Melo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Goblins F.C.'s Sílvio Moraes got control of the ball when Alexandre Veríssimo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Alexandre Veríssimo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Sílvio Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 66th minute of the match, Alexandre Veríssimo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sílvio Moraes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Mateus Campos got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute Bruninho Campidelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrício Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Zé Pedro Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Veríssimo got free with Sílvio Moraes in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernando Trindades short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Sílvio Moraes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 85 played minutes Goblins F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Bruninho Campidelis. In the 91st minute, Enio Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sílvio Moraes made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Teófilo Pádua sent off a good shot on target. The CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
