The referee ignored De Boedo Vengo's protests and gave Lázaro Turi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, Lázaro Turi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cayetano Esdras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Cayetano Esdras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Peres in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Gil Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Esdras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Victoriano Ibañez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jerônimo de Mendonça. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victoriano Ibañez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 27th minute Gil Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Esdras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Jerônimo de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Bartoleme in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Nicasio Bartoleme recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jerônimo de Mendonça. Nicasio Bartoleme showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, De Boedo Vengo's Orlando Segio got a free kick in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Peres in the 38th minute of play forced De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Cayetano Esdras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vinícius Fernandes took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cayetano Esdras. Cayetano Esdras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natalio Gilen got free with Jerônimo de Mendonça in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lázaro Turi was slow to take the kick. During this time De Boedo Vengo's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Dionisio Corderun heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicasio Bartoleme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. De Boedo Vengo's Cayetano Esdras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save De Boedo Vengo from getting a goal against them. Cayetano Esdras made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gil Peres in the 53rd minute. With a little luck, De Boedo Vengo's Cayetano Esdras got control of the ball when Gil Peres tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edmílson Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Cayetano Esdras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66thth minute of the game Edmílson Senna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Boedo Vengo's Cayetano Esdras was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cayetano Esdras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Ernesto Hoffmann who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Cayetano Esdras when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cayetano Esdras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson Senna in the 78th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in De Boedo Vengo's zone, Ulisses Baiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cayetano Esdras came out of the goal and Ulisses Baiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, Ernesto Hoffmann notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of De Boedo Vengo's Cayetano Esdras. Cayetano Esdras was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice moves Ernesto Hoffmann could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Cayetano Esdras however easily saved by the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
