With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tião Castro in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cayetano Esdras saved De Boedo Vengo from getting behind. Cayetano Esdras stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tião Castro's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. With his leg Bebeto Vaz managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when De Boedo Vengo's Amadeo Gomesano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 8 minutes into the game, Lenílson Lago was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. COURO COME FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave De Boedo Vengo the free kick. Lenílson Lago hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Nicasio Bartoleme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bebeto Vaz was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. The supporters of COURO COME FC booed when De Boedo Vengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Isauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victoriano Ibañez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Bebeto Vaz made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicasio Bartoleme in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bebeto Vaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Bartoleme in the 20th minute of play forced COURO COME FC's goalkeeper Bebeto Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, COURO COME FC's Tião Castro got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 24 minutes into the game, when Orlando Moreno put in a rough tackle. 23 minutes into the game, one of COURO COME FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Dino Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th minute Victoriano Ibañez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilian Carioca in the 32nd minute of play forced De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Cayetano Esdras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antônio Tasso hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute Lázaro Turi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th match minute, COURO COME FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeferson Couto to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, De Boedo Vengo's Lázaro Turi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 38 minutes into the match, De Boedo Vengo's goal looked a bit too open when Tião Castro came free, but Cayetano Esdras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. De Boedo Vengo's Cayetano Esdras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tião Castro in the 39th minute of play. Bebeto Vaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicasio Bartoleme's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Bebeto Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Bartoleme in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicasio Bartoleme to strike the kick off in the second half. Bebeto Vaz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicasio Bartoleme went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 58th minute Amadeo Gomesano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tião Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, De Boedo Vengo's Natalio Gilen got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 69 minutes of play, COURO COME FC's Tião Castro made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cayetano Esdras was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 76 played minutes COURO COME FC got a freekick which was hit by Lenílson Lago. Dino Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Bebeto Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Gomesano, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. A collision led to COURO COME FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Antônio Tasso hit a great ball. Bebeto Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Ibañez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, De Boedo Vengo's Cayetano Esdras got control of the ball when Tião Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The De Boedo Vengo fans cheered their team off the field, for while COURO COME FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
