The referee showed Eurico Paes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to 卡納里尼奧 FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Eurico Paes hit a great ball. João Vítor Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franklin de Almeida in the 8th minute of the match. Franklin de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Vítor Guimarães having to interfere. After 26 played minutes 卡納里尼奧 FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu Alagoano. Cido Vinhas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but João Vítor Guimarães made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Damasceno in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Telmo Trigo saved A.A. Francana from getting behind. 卡納里尼奧 FC's João Vítor Guimarães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save 卡納里尼奧 FC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Elias Damasceno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Telmo Trigo was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Agostinho Guedes might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Telmo Trigo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agostinho Guedes ran back to his position shaking his head. 45 minutes into the game, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Elias Damasceno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Telmo Trigo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Franklin de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Elias Damasceno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Telmo Trigo. A.A. Francana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elias Damasceno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 0-3 became the score in the 66th minute when Elias Damasceno elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Elias Damasceno had several of the A.A. Francana's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 83 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Telmo Trigo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Agostinho Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Trigo having to interfere. After 89 played minutes A.A. Francana got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Eduardo Rodrigues. Agostinho Guedes took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Telmo Trigo. Telmo Trigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. In the 94th match minute, 卡納里尼奧 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Vidal to maneuver through the defense. A.A. Francana's Serginho Alagoano couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for 卡納里尼奧 FC. 卡納里尼奧 FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over A.A. Francana's much stronger midfield.
