Inácio de Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. If Nilmar Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Armando de Brito hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Jerônimo de Mendonça came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Dorival Viana. But to his dismay, Dorival Viana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Pedro Luís Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerônimo de Mendonça having to interfere. When Nilmar Berger fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s protests and gave Nilmar Berger a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Milan da Freguesia F.C. getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Nilmar Berger hit a great ball. In the 38th minute Edmílson Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmílson Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerônimo de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luís Lima in the 43rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Josué Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute Edmílson Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Luís Paulo Zonta fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s protests and gave Luís Paulo Zonta a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes Milan da Freguesia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Luís Paulo Zonta. Milan da Freguesia F.C. made a substitution. Christian Monteiro replaced Juvenal de Queiroz. In the 59th minute, Luís Paulo Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62ndth minute of the game Edmílson Senna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Jean Donato was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Inácio de Lima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ the free kick. After 63 played minutes Milan da Freguesia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Inácio de Lima. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Hoffmann got free with Jean Donato in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jerônimo de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luís Lima in the 67th minute of play. Rony Sergipano hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Hoffmann in the 78th minute of play forced Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s goalkeeper Jean Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Breno Ceresso lost his temper 80 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Breno Ceresso got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s goalkeeper Jean Donato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
