After 2 minutes, Amadeo Gomesano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Boedo Vengo and the A.A. Francana players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd minute, Amadeo Gomesano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by De Boedo Vengo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Serginho Alagoano was slow to take the kick. During this time A.A. Francana's players had a chance to rest. A.A. Francana's Serginho Alagoano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cayetano Esdras in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 7th minute João Adolfo Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Esdras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armandinho Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Cayetano Esdras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicasio Bartoleme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th match minute, De Boedo Vengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Amaya to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, De Boedo Vengo's goal looked a bit too open when João Adolfo Leite came free, but Cayetano Esdras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Victoriano Ibañez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cido Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Santo Patrido kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 30th match minute, De Boedo Vengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Turi to maneuver through the defense. Telmo Trigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victoriano Ibañez's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armandinho Vergílio in the 35th minute of play forced De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Cayetano Esdras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the A.A. Francana defense, Nicasio Bartoleme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Telmo Trigo. The A.A. Francana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Telmo Trigo should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Nicasio Bartoleme made the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes De Boedo Vengo got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Turi. Serginho Alagoano struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Cayetano Esdras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.A. Francana. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Bartoleme in the 54th minute of play forced A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Telmo Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th match minute, A.A. Francana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válbson Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. Cayetano Esdras didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cido Vinhas went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 66 minutes into the game, Nicasio Bartoleme cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Telmo Trigo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 73 minutes into the game, João Adolfo Leite cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Cayetano Esdras was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87thth minute of the game Nicasio Bartoleme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.A. Francana's Telmo Trigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Adolfo Leite in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cayetano Esdras saved De Boedo Vengo from getting behind. Telmo Trigo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victoriano Ibañez went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Nicasio Bartoleme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Many of A.A. Francana's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. A.A. Francana may have spent more time on the ball, but De Boedo Vengo were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
