When Dedê Mendes fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Agua Santa's protests and gave Dedê Mendes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Agua Santa's Dedê Mendes got a free kick in the 46th minute. The A.A. Francana players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Agua Santa were winning 1-2.

If Frank Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Rosa hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Cido Vinhas took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomé Mota. Tomé Mota dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Frank Rosa in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Agua Santa's Dedê Mendes got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting.
