In the 23rdth minute of the game Șerban Damian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Boedo Vengo's Cayetano Esdras was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute Gelu Tăutu suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Natalio Gilen's late challenge caught a DINAMO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Natalio Gilen helped the player get up and apologised. Cayetano Esdras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Șerban Damian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoriano Ibañez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Horea Hurmuzache made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Victoriano Ibañez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Horea Hurmuzache. That made the score 2-1 in the 30 minute of play. Horea Hurmuzache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Ibañez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Bartoleme in the 35th minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Horea Hurmuzache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horea Hurmuzache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Bartoleme in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to De Boedo Vengo getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Orlando Segio hit a great ball. In the 46th minute Basarab Bâlea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Esdras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute of the match DINAMO got a corner. De Boedo Vengo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Basarab Bâlea ran over to the corner to take the kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Șerban Damian to make the kick off. Cayetano Esdras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Șerban Damian in the 51st minute of the match. A collision led to De Boedo Vengo getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Dionisio Corderun hit a great ball. After 56 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by David Greblă. When Lázaro Turi fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Boedo Vengo's protests and gave Lázaro Turi a yellow card for diving instead. After 93 minutes of play, DINAMO's Șerban Damian made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cayetano Esdras was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
