Renatinho Rodrigues charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renatinho Rodrigues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Evaristo Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

A collision led to De Boedo Vengo getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Orlando Segio hit a great ball. Renatinho Rodrigues was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 52nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Meira in the 57th minute of play forced De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Cayetano Esdras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th match minute, Figueira SC FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinaldo Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Figueira SC FSCMZ made a substitution. Luiz Guilherme Paiva replaced Evandro do Valle. In the 60th minute, Reinaldo Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th match minute, De Boedo Vengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Ibañez to maneuver through the defense. Victoriano Ibañez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Marcelo Medeiros made a huge save.
