Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) POPULAR F.C's Victorio Pabla started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pancracio Paniagua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 4th minute of the match. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clarke Brooks kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Pancracio Paniagua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Macos Graciani made in the 14th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luca Zorita. After a rather tough play, POPULAR F.C's Clarke Brooks got a free kick in the 16th minute. After having played for 18 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maicon de Godoi hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Pancracio Paniagua didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. In the 39th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. POPULAR F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Pabla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 56th match minute, POPULAR F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefaan Valkeneers to maneuver through the defense. Pancracio Paniagua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. With a little luck, POPULAR F.C's Pancracio Paniagua got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pancracio Paniagua. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Mancebo ran back to his position shaking his head. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Pancracio Paniagua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. POPULAR F.C made a substitution. Sílvio Luís Pires replaced Maicon de Godoi. POPULAR F.C's Denílson Prado was substituted for Gilson Cordeiro. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to POPULAR F.C getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Clarke Brooks hit a great ball. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind POPULAR F.C's goalkeeper Pancracio Paniagua, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Pancracio Paniagua in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that POPULAR F.C's Pancracio Paniagua managed to reach the ball for a save. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Pancracio Paniagua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pancracio Paniagua made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Joel Gaona sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Victorio Pabla managed to get in a good position for a shot. POPULAR F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorio Pabla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute of the game Macos Graciani made a throw-in which Lautaro Mancebo played forward. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Pancracio Paniagua successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, POPULAR F.C's Pancracio Paniagua got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mexico were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
