Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. Sociedad Anónima's Matxin Uceda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 11th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matxin Uceda. Matxin Uceda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The throw-in from Leonardo Leoz in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sociedad Anónima's Pacho Cando. Matxin Uceda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Medardo Arena charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Medardo Arena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sociedad Anónima's Medardo Arena got a free kick in the 24th minute. Matxin Uceda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 27th minute of play. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matxin Uceda having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Sociedad Anónima's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Matxin Uceda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matxin Uceda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Medardo Arena kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match Joel Gaona shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matxin Uceda showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 41st minute, Sociedad Anónima's Nuno Mazorra dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nuno Mazorra to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Sociedad Anónima got a freekick which was hit by Stanislao Talaga. With his leg Matxin Uceda managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Matxin Uceda made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 58th minute of play forced Sociedad Anónima's goalkeeper Matxin Uceda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francho Castroviejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herensuge Villafranca in the 66th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Matxin Uceda in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matxin Uceda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 played minutes Sociedad Anónima got a freekick which was hit by Txurio Closa. Matxin Uceda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 71st minute of the match. Matxin Uceda was a little too slow when Joel Gaona got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 1-4. Matxin Uceda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The audience was convinced that Joel Gaona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matxin Uceda was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 91st minute. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Matxin Uceda made a huge save. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Matxin Uceda firmly grabbed it by the left post. Sociedad Anónima's Pacho Cando quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leonardo Leoz, made in the 96th minute of the game. Mexico played a much better game than Sociedad Anónima and deserved their victory. The Sociedad Anónima players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
