To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esteban Carvallo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the game, Sebastian Villa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pavel Milescu. Sebastian Villa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Levi Miner might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Levi Miner ran back to his position shaking his head. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Levi Miner in the 25th minute of the match. The referee ignored CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's protests and gave Tiberiu Ciuvică a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM got a freekick which was hit by Tiberiu Ciuvică. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Iurie Ivasiuc hit a great ball. Sebastian Villa scored 3-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pavel Milescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Olimpiu Drăucean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteban Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After 75 minutes, Flavius Burnei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Levi Miner came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Levi Miner couldn't finish the play. Sebastian Villa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pavel Milescu having to make a save. 82 minutes into the match, CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Pavel Milescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundo Espiga scored 4-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pavel Milescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pavel Milescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Honduras players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
