Onizuka team Kraków's Olaf Arnista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 42nd minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Onizuka team Kraków was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Ur didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Arnista having to interfere. Olaf Arnista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 54th minute. Marcin Majerowicz hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. If Horia Stejaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Horia Stejaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Olaf Arnista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 71st minute. The supporters of Onizuka team Kraków booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Onizuka team Kraków's Marcin Majerowicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Cristian Sancho sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Onizuka team Kraków's Olaf Arnista didn't even have to move. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Onizuka team Kraków throughout the match.
