Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Reynaldo Pimenta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Reynaldo Pimenta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reynaldo Pimenta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reynaldo Pimenta having to make a save. In the 16th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Pimenta having to interfere. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Reynaldo Pimenta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 23rd minute of play forced A.D Garotos do Vale's goalkeeper Reynaldo Pimenta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reynaldo Pimenta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reynaldo Pimenta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The A.D Garotos do Vale players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Venezuela were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Augusto Pimenta made the kick off in the second half. When Guillermo Mariano came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Mariano couldn't finish the play. A.D Garotos do Vale's Reynaldo Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 62nd minute of play. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. In the 68thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.D Garotos do Vale's Reynaldo Pimenta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to A.D Garotos do Vale getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. André Luís Simão hit a great ball. Salvador Gisbert took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Reynaldo Pimenta. A.D Garotos do Vale's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Reynaldo Pimenta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Illescas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 78 minute of play. After 81 played minutes A.D Garotos do Vale got a freekick which was hit by Virgílio Carneiro. The supporters of Venezuela booed when A.D Garotos do Vale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válter Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Illescas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Reynaldo Pimenta. That made the score 0-5 in the 85 minute of play. Reynaldo Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 89th minute of play. With a little luck, A.D Garotos do Vale's Reynaldo Pimenta got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line.
