Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ola Boström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens-Ola Boström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joshua Garrido in the 39th minute of play. After 41 minutes Jordan F1 91-05's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. 41 minutes into the game, Colombia's Kevin Mastache nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens-Ola Boström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. Axel Montenegros short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Jens-Ola Boström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 52nd minute, Jordan F1 91-05's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Axel Montenegro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nazeer Mhlathe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Nazeer Mhlathe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Nazeer Mhlathe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jens-Ola Boström, 2-3. In the 61st match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abram Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. Jens-Ola Boström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Carballar in the 66th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Guo Gang Yan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. The Colombia fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Colombia's Ignacio Mastache looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jordan F1 91-05's Szczepan Szablewski was substituted for Rune Brolin. In the 78thth minute of the game Gunnar Nilsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jordan F1 91-05's attentive Celil Sahir managed to snatch the ball when Joshua Garrido made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. 84 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Guo Gang Yan came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joshua Garrido made in the 85th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Jordan F1 91-05's Szczepan Szablewski. Joshua Garrido made in the 87th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ignacio Mastache however managed to control. Jens-Ola Boström made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Ignacio Mastache sent off a good shot on target. Jens-Ola Boström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 92nd minute of the match. Jens-Ola Boström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pascual Carballar in the 94th minute.
