Buritama Sports's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Julian Murillo scored to the left of an out of position Murilo Ferreira, making the score, 1-0. Murilo Ferreira had great luck who in the 12thth minute grab hold of the ball when Eliseo Mina from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Eliseo Mina took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Murilo Ferreira to make any attempt to save it. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute Buritama Sports were awarded a corner. Wang Wei Sha went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Buritama Sports's Wang Wei Sha to fire away a dangerous shot which Rolando Noboa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Buritama Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Murilo Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wang Wei Sha, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the game, Peru's Luz Tejedor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Murilo Ferreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Murilo Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Peru's Joaquin Prats got a free kick in the 36th minute. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wang Wei Sha in the 37th minute of play. Eliseo Mina hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Alonso Berganza hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Murilo Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. Murilo Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Buritama Sports's Vítor Leão got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 59 played minutes Buritama Sports got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Leão. When Luz Tejedor came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luz Tejedor couldn't finish the play. Buritama Sports's Murilo Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 62nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Buritama Sports's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murilo Ferreira came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Buritama Sports's Murilo Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milagros Fraga in the 68th minute of play. Peru were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Buritama Sports's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in Buritama Sports's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murilo Ferreira came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Buritama Sports's Doriva Souto was substituted for Ricardo Dias. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Luz Tejedor hit a great ball. Luz Tejedor kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Alexsandro Aguiar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Ricardinho Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Peru's Rafael Gallo got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Alexsandro Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Alexsandro Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 minutes of play, Peru's Rafael Gallo made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Murilo Ferreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Peru were the better team. Peru's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
