Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo da Fonseca in the 8th minute of play. Murilo Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colombia's Abram Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Murilo Ferreira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Abelardo da Fonseca succeeded in the game's 17th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Murilo Ferreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abram Sarmiento's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Axel Montenegro took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Murilo Ferreira to make any attempt to save it. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Murilo Ferreira made a huge save. Murilo Ferreira made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Murilo Ferreira. Axel Montenegro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abelardo da Fonseca in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wang Wei Sha in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. In the 37th minute of the match Buritama Sports got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wang Wei Sha ran over to the corner to take the kick. Santino Seco tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Pedro Manzanares. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-2 in the 41st minute. Silvinho Lago made in the 46th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Abelardo da Fonseca however managed to control. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Abelardo da Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game was made by Ricardo Dias with Vito Senna as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Abelardo da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Gilvan de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Buritama Sports's Gilvan de Lara got a free kick in the 58th minute. 65 minutes into the game, Abelardo da Fonseca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Abelardo da Fonseca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Alexsandro Aguiar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Manzanares came out and tried to block the shot, but Alexsandro Aguiar slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 75th minute. Colombia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Wang Wei Sha scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Manzanares, making the score, 2-6. 84 minutes into the game, Buritama Sports's Abelardo da Fonseca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-7. In the 87th minute, Amauri Peixoto fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 92nd minute Abram Secada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Cazalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Murilo Ferreira having to make a save.
