Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) forsal FC's Attilio Pani started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfonso Aquilino went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 44th match minute, forsal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franco Fortunato to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 52nd minute of play forced forsal FC's goalkeeper Válter Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Válter Tasso made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes into the match, forsal FC's goalkeeper Válter Tasso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Lucchetta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to forsal FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Attilio Bordon hit a great ball. After 64 minutes of play, forsal FC's Attilio Pani made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Attilio Pani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Emiliano Lucchetta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. forsal FC's Válter Tasso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save forsal FC from getting a goal against them. Válter Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Válter Tasso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88th minute Emiliano Lucchetta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. forsal FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
