They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. In the 65th minute of the match Gräskraft BK got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gräskraft BK's 马棋凌 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Gräskraft BK from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pieter Eringa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 87th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Gräskraft BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ecuador played a much better game than Gräskraft BK and deserved their victory. The Gräskraft BK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
