But to his dismay, Moises Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Roch Solibieda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Roch Solibieda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Milagros Cabal hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the game, Roch Solibieda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro. Roch Solibieda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimir Domingues was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 28thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Janolin SA's Vladimir Domingues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Janolin SA's Roch Solibieda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 40 minutes into the match, Janolin SA's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Vladimir Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Honduras!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roch Solibieda, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute Janolin SA were awarded a corner. Maciej Marchewka went to the cornerflag to take it. Vladimir Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 64th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
