The audience cheered when Güven Çırakoğlu's long shot passed Rolando Noboa's right side. It was 2-1, 22 minutes into the match. Peru's Moises Gayoso got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Inge Nymoen in the 29th minute of play. Stig-Inge Nymoen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rolando Noboa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Glyka Nera FC's Narciso Eusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 36th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig-Inge Nymoen. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luz Tejedor made a kick off. Kostas Kalamaridis kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Glyka Nera FC's Jiang Xing Jun got a free kick in the 58th minute. A throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game was made by Jiang Xing Jun with Stig-Inge Nymoen as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Thanks to some nice moves Milagros Fraga could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Narciso Eusko however easily saved by the left post. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Inge Nymoen, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jiang Xing Jun, made in the 69th minute of the game. Luz Tejedor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers He Zheng Xing in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. 82 minutes into the match, He Zheng Xing notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. If Antonio Tenorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 minutes of play, Glyka Nera FC's Stig-Inge Nymoen made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Many of Peru's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Peru may have spent more time on the ball, but Glyka Nera FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
