Segmon IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Leif Löfdahl made the kick off in the second half. Segmon IF's Alfons Glad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Segmon IF from getting a goal against them. 80 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfons Glad. In the 95th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 96 minutes, Joseph Österlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Segmon IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseph Österlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
