With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when 林庭烨 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 彭谦昆 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 陶升振 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 陶升振 kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match.
