Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Diego Frasquito made the kick off and thus started the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Frasquito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angel Guillelmus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thibau Van Mellaert in the 9th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Venezia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Roberto Abbondanzieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 played minutes Venezia FC got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Perfecto. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Frasquito got free with Dante Lacasa in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Venezia FC's Diego Frasquito in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Frasquito in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Alberto Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roberto Abbondanzieri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Abbondanzieri saved Venezia FC from getting behind. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Angel Guillelmus sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Cazalla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mexico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezia FC the free kick. Lorenzo Cazalla kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Thibau Van Mellaert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute of the match Joel Gaona shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roberto Abbondanzieri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Roberto Abbondanzieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 62nd minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Flavio Bazkoare was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. After a rather tough play, Venezia FC's Flavio Bazkoare got a free kick in the 66th minute. Desiderio Salvadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Frasquito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 78th minute of play forced Venezia FC's goalkeeper Roberto Abbondanzieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Bazkoare in the 81st minute of play. In the 86th minute, Maximo Perfecto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st match minute, Venezia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Bazkoare to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Frasquito in the 94th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Venezia FC's goalkeeper Roberto Abbondanzieri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Facundo Cadaval. The Venezia FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
