Guaberto Bitxintxo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Gabriel Porfiro made a huge save. Luganeros AFC's Gabriel Porfiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurenz Goddez in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes in the game Hu Han Han did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Laurenz Goddez. In the 35th minute, Luis Vázquez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Luganeros AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 44 minutes into the match, Luis Vázquez notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of La Candela FC's Ramiro Gabrio. Ramiro Gabrio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Luganeros AFC booed when La Candela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Mendoza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The wind increased when Damian Servando made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Servando in the 51st minute of play forced Luganeros AFC's goalkeeper Gabriel Porfiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Yu Quan Di got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Luganeros AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Luganeros AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
