Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Inter Miami CF's Blas Urtungo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Pacorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blas Urtungo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Blas Urtungo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter Miami CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blas Urtungo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Urtungo in the 14th minute of the match. Teo Pacorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of play. After 25 played minutes Inter Miami CF got a freekick which was hit by Juan Raúl Riquelme. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Teo Pacorro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Iago in the 31st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Teo Pacorro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Inter Miami CF's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Teo Pacorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Inter Miami CF's goalie prevented a goal. In the 42ndth minute of the game Blas Urtungo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Teo Pacorro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. Enzo Iago took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Inter Miami CF's Piara Lider got a free kick in the 54th minute. Inter Miami CF's Teo Pacorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 56th minute of play. If Amado Muc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Felix Montenegro hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Pacorro having to interfere. Amado Muc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Urtungo came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teo Pacorro was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. With a little luck, Inter Miami CF's Teo Pacorro got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Muc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teo Pacorro. That made the score 0-3 after 80 minutes of play. Juan Raúl Riquelme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Inter Miami CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Lertxun didn't get a good kick on the ball. A nice corner shot did that Enzo Iago got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 94 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Muc came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Enzo Iago who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Enzo Iago almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save.
