Mateo Leguizamo kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Leonardo Baelo made in the 11th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Romo Aenlle immediately put the ball in play. In the 12th minute Moises Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inguma Madama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Moises Fernandino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Salvador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Moises Fernandino scored 2-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inguma Madama, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Venceslao Mayllar in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Zorita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Magrina to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Moises Fernandino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inguma Madama. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Fernandino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 43rd minute, Mateo Leguizamo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moises Fernandino had several of the Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 45 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-0 score and a disappointed Inguma Madama as he didn't even see the shot coming. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Venceslao Mayllar was the one to do the kick off. The throw-in from Jorge Magrina in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Celipe Segurola. After 58 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Leguizamo. Inguma Madama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Fernandino in the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Moises Fernandino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inguma Madama was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Inguma Madama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Tamayo in the 65th minute of play. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's goalkeeper Inguma Madama, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Veremundo Ascarretazabal kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Inguma Madama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo got a free kick in the 90th minute. The excitement rose when El Salvador's Jorge Magrina after 93 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 8-0.
